Same thing happened to me – 2.1 crashed my dashboard.

Glad to hear that it wasn’t just me. Hopefully there will be a fix for this soon
The changelog mentions a “date fixing feature”. That file does not appear to have been included with the plugin. If you comment out line 103 of sermons.php, the white screen should disappear.

Daniel Milner. Reason: Incorrect line number
I can confirm the same problem after updating to 2.1.0: the admin pages give me “HTTP ERROR 500”. I’ve reverted back to 2.0.8 in the meantime.
Same for me. Can anyone tell me where to find the previous version to download?
Thanks GermanKiwi – I’m back in business!
Thanks. I tried installing 1.9.6 that I had and then 2.0.8 but both give me 404 errors when I try to go to a sermon. Any suggestions?
Maybe delete the “sermon-manager-for-wordpress” folder inside your Plugins folder, then upload the contents of the 2.0.8 version in its place? (Should have exactly the same folder name).
For me it worked fine when I uploaded 2.0.8 over the top of 2.1.0.
Hey everyone,
We’re really sorry about this, and are sorting it out right now. For some reason the release didn’t include a few files and it should have.
There will be another release soon to rectify all this.
The updates should not affect your sermons in any way since they are stored in the database.
Thanks for your patience. We will post here again once an update is released.
Hey, dev here.
Sorry about the inconvenience.
2.1.1 has been released with the fix. All you need to do is to download the latest version and upload it via FTP if you can’t access the backend area.
No sermon data will be lost if you delete the plugin folder and replace it with the new one. (located in ~/wp-content/plugins)
I just installed 2.1.1, but now the shortcodes are broken. I am using the normal [sermons] shortcode.
Hey guys,
Sadly our Sermon Manager pre-release testing process is not as airtight as we thought, so we’re advising everyone to delete the plugin and revert back to 2.0.8 manually via https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/sermon-manager-for-wordpress.2.0.8.zip.
The [sermons] shortcode has been affected and will cause issues if you have used it. So reverting for now will be the best option.
We appreciate your patience in this, we’re working hard to get this sorted out, along with our processes so that this doesn’t happen in the future.
Won’t that delete the data too?

Hi @marcdesantis,
No it won’t, the data is stored in the database, the plugin just reads that in, so deleting the plugin doesn’t affect your database.
Feel free to do a database backup beforehand, but it won’t affect it.
