Hi, I have found that having the events appear in a pop up window makes the maps visible in Android and mostly visible in Chrome, Firefox, Waterfox and Pale Moon, the page has to be reloaded some times to see the map correctly.
@mikemc2410,
You have the cross-site error:
A Parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3&sensor=false&libraries=geometry,places,weather,panoramio,drawing&language=en, is invoked via document.write. This MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message.See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.
If you use different URLs for frontend and backend make them identical in settings.
Hi, I’m sorry but I really do not understand your explanation, the script you refer to is called by the events calendar and the link to chromestatus appears to refer to Android issues not PC browsers.
Are you able to be more specific in your explanation please.

@mikemc2410,
When you use the website front and back link URLs different, this causes multiple issues. If the issue is resolved, it will resolve the issue with the maps.
Hi, the problem is that I also have the WP Google Map Pro plugin installed, what happens then is that there are multiple calls to the Google Maps API, if I deactivate WP Google Map Pro plugin then the Events Calendar Maps works correctly.
Do you have a solution to this please apart from deactivating the WP Google Map Pro plugin.
Regards
Mike McCormack
Hi, you can mark this as resolved, I’ve purchased WP Google Maps Pro and this plugin does not interfere with other plugins using a Google Map.
Thanks
