Increase Padding on Maps

Hello. I like MapPress but the lack of padding on the bottom of the maps is annoying and is causing me not to use the plugin at all. Is there a short code that I can use to help increase the padding to the bottom of the maps? If so, what is it? And what’s the typical amount of padding one would want to use? 10 pixels? 20 pixels? If not, what’s another option for me to use? Thanks.
