team grade in league table

We want to apply the following rule on league tables:

If two or more teams (e.g. team A, team B) have exactly the same wins-loses in league table it means the same grade e.g. 20 for each team. The next criterion for their rank-grade in league table would be the wins between them, if e.g. the team A has won in both games between them then the team A would be in higher position in league table than the team B. If they have the same number of wins between them (one per team) then the next criterion would be the points difference on their games between them e.g. on the first game A-B the score was (A)45-(B)40 and on the second match the score was B(44)-A(40). It means that the A team had higher difference of +1 point on win and should be higher in grade on league table because of the +1.
How can this be applied?

Thanks for reaching out!

We can do that up to the head to head part.

To enable this feature, go to Team Settings and choose the Tiebreaker setting under League Tables.

Hi there,

thank you for your response. I did that but the two teams that should be affected didn’t, look here: (http://www.olabasket.gr/%CE%B2%CE%B1%CE%B8%CE%BC%CE%BF%CE%BB%CE%BF%CE%B3%CE%AF%CE%B1-%CE%B11-%CE%B5%CF%83%CE%BA%CE%B1%CE%B8-2%CE%BF%CF%82-%CF%8C%CE%BC%CE%B9%CE%BB%CE%BF%CF%82/)
The team in position 2 (ΕΘΝΙΚΟΣ ΛΑΡΙΣΑΣ) should be in position 3 and the team in position 3 (ΙΚΑΡΟΙ ΤΡΙΚΑΛΩΝ) should be in position 2 because they have won both matches between them. I have also cleared cache.

Thanks for the example. What happens when you use a different theme (such as rookie) and disable all your custom code and plugins?

I haven’t test it and I cannot do it on the live site. Is there any idea of the problem that we can test?

Hi!

Do you have a test install? I believe it’s the best way to test this kind of thing as we don’t want to break your live site. This is important either way as you can test plugin compatibility, updates and new features without affecting your live site.

It’s very easy to create one if you don’t have already. Just create a fresh WP install under /dev for example and use one of these plugins to mirror your current site into it:
