Upgrade Makes Plugin Inactive and Useless

    I just upgraded when a notification came about an hour ago and it appears to have broken the app as most of the screens are now inactive.

    (1) the form fields on the General page are inactive.
    (2) the gateway selection drop-down isn’t active
    (3) “Add Mobile number to user profile and register form” on the Features page says it’s active but there’s no checkbox
    (4) The Send SMS page is completely blank.

    Absolutely nothing works.

    Hello,

    It seems You’ve been using before v4. in this version using setting api for options plugin.

    Hi @mostafas1990,

    Thanks for your response. I don’t understand your answer. I installed the plugin less than a week ago to test it out and then last night the Update notification showed on the admin panel. I updated and activated the plugin and the result was the four issues I mentioned in the original post.

    Was the plugin in the repository before the update one older than v4? If so, then earlier this week v3 was being installed.

    I know it’s not a conflict with another plugin because I disabled the couple I’m using and the problems remained.

    What does that mean and how do I get the plugin to work?

    You can install last version plugin in your wordpress Without any problem. after install set your gateway configuration on the setting page.

    Thanks again for your reply @mostafas1990. That page is just not active in the installation. I deactivated the plugin, deleted it from the dashboard and reinstalled it from the repository; and while it shows the original setting of my phone number fromn the original installation, no field in any form can be filled in nor any option button selected. All are inactive.

    To repeat, it’s not a plugin conflict because I disabled all plugins and the problem remained. I could only make a guess that it’s with the Twenty Seventeen theme I’m using.

    It’s just like completely crippled installation.

    What do you know. I just activated it again and went to the Settings page and it’s working again. Maybe something had been cached and now cleared.

    Anyway, I won’t be able to use it as Twilio is not listed.I’ll try a test account with SMSGlobal but they’re a more expensive service that Twilio. Maybe I’ll just do a hack with the Twilio PHP example and forget about plugins.

    Yes. the cache should be clear.

    The twlio gateway included in the pro pack version‌ 🙂
