Hello @tonihogan,
In order to change the default sending email address of your WordPress system, you can use a plugin like “WP Simple Mail Sender”.
Or if your system gets to send many automated emails,i suggest you look for a transactional emails service provider that will carry and deliver all your website’s emails with the options you want.
Best luck using Direct Stripe
I use mandrill any suggestions on getting that working?
@tsinclair1982 it was easier for me to just install the WP Simple Mail Sender plugin.
Hello,
@tsinclair1982 could you refer to Mandrill’s documentation and support?
https://mandrill.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
@tonihogan can we mark your question as solved?
Thanks again for using Direct Stripe plugin.
Best regards
Thanks for the quick reply! I am using google compute to host my site and it requres an external mail gateway. Therefore we use mandril and when i test this plugin simply nothing happens via email.
Hello @tsinclair1982,
I understand that your WordPress system emails are correctly carried and delivered via Mandrill until you activated Direct Stripe plugin.
I guess you correctly checked the checkboxes in direct stripe->settings->email options.
At that point, do all the system emails stop being delivered or only direct stripe confirmation/error emails?
Are you able to turn debug on in your wp-config.php file and provide any more debug info?
Best regards,
OOps, somehow i got it to work:D Thanks and sorry for wasting your time. Next question is, how do i not create a new user each payment! THank you
Hello @tsinclair1982,
I’m glad the emails go through!
The users are created based on the email address used, do you have several users with the same email address?
Could you open a new support ticket in case you do?
Thank you @tonihogan,
Best wishes
