php7 compatible
-
Hi raogk,
Thanks for contacting me here.
Yes, BD is PHP 7 compatible. We verified this earlier in 2016. I can’t vouch for all plugins you may install, but WP 4.6.1 and BD 4.1.4 are definitely PHP 7 compatible.
If you run into any issues, you should always run a conflict test to find the source:
Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue, when you run into it: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/
If you find a problem with us, please let us know ASAP. PHP 7 is still very small in terms of installs (PHP 5.4-5.6 dominate by a long shot) so if there’s something we’ve missed, we want to know!

Business Directory Plugin.
Great, I did a php7 checker and it said it was possibly not compatible but its good to hear it is, thanks
What about the BD addons? they good too.
Yes, the premium modules too.
What checker are you using? What errors did you see?
We ran through a checker as well and found it spat out quite a few bogus warnings that didn’t even result in actual PHP warnings when run under PHP7 on a test server…So those tools don’t always tell the full truth in my experience, FYI.
It was the PHP Compatibility Checker by wpengine. Ill run it again and let you know the exact warning it gave

———————————————————————————————–HI raogk,
Ah–yes, that sqlite extension is an old one for us, we no longer need it anymore. We’ll remove that from our next build. Thanks for letting us know!
