Where are the quote marks?

Hi,
I’ve installed this plug in and trying it now.
The quote marks seem to not work that well…
I’m using very basic settings (default template, background, etc.) of the plug in.
In the first attempt only one quote mark appeared (the opening one). Later on it disappeared, and then in one of the attempts both quote marks appear, and disappeared again.
Any attempts since failed! I’ve tried changing multiple parameters and nada.

Please advice whether you have a quick and workable solution before I move on.

Oh, and I did already cleaned all cache and checked this over several browsers…
