Jetpack won’t connect to Facebook

I’ve been using Jetpack publicize successfully for years, and recently just changed my FB password. Publicize will not allow me to reconnect to FB however. I’ve clicked the Refresh Connection button, selected my page, clicked Okay, but it keeps refreshing to not being connected. I’ve also tried removing the connection altogether and then adding it again, but with the same result.
I’m logged in to FB while doing this of course, but can’t figure out why it might not be working.
I haven’t changed themes or anything, the only change I’ve made is changing my FB password.
Would appreciate some ideas on resolving this please.
