How to find documents by searching

    I’m wanting to find a search engine that will index the contents of the files stored in File Away. SearchWP says it can do that if the files are stored in the media library. Does File Away make media library entries for these files?

    Or is there a way to search for file names in all directories without having to be inside the one that contains the file I’m looking for? Or if someone has a different solution I’m open to that too.

    File Away currently allows only searches in the directory you’re looking at. If you make your table recursive [fileaway type=”table” recursive=”true”] it will put all subdirectories in a single table (no directory-tree structure, manager mode not available). The search feature is javascript based; it searches the html of the table, not the server.

    File Away does not interact with the WordPress media library.
