    Hi,

I installed portfolio-gallery using wp-cli on WordPress 4.6.1. during an automated build in my staging environment. After installing it I get the following error message when trying to install the next plugin using wp-cli.

An earlier version of portfolio-gallery has been installed, which was removed using through the filesystem using “rm”.

Call to undefined function portfolio_gallery_isset_table_column() in /srv/html/wp-content/plugins/portfolio-gallery/includes/class-portfolio-gallery-install.php on line 39

Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

  • Just noticed I get the same error message on one of my websites. It worked fine a few days ago, when I installed the plugin. I really don’t know what happened that broke the plugin. Hoping for some help!

    Hello
Please tell us if both of you use the very last version? May we see the link where you get the error message?

If the issue is general it will be updates immediatelly

Yes, I’m downloading a fresh copy of the latest version. Unfortunately I can’t provide you with a link, since this happens during a build process.

In this process first the latest WordPress Version is installed, then the different plugins we need. After installing portfolio-gallery the next plugin installation using wp-cli fails with this error message.

I installed 2.2.2 last week on a 4.6.1 WordPress installation, on http://www.seafrontmusic.net. The plugin worked fine and I entered some items. Two days later I returned to the website and found the error message, which prevented the website from loading. I had to rename the plugin folder to get the site running again and it is still in this condition.

Hello @infamuze we don’t see the portfolio in your link, may you send the direct link please?

I removed the link and renamed the folder, because it made my site totally unaccessible. I’m willing to enable it for a short time to allow you to investigate, but since it’s a production site I can’t have if offline too long.

Hello, same problem, your update made my site totally unaccessible. (biztalnet.com)

Dear @infamuze we may put your support under the urgent and fix it within 1 hour, please drop a message on info@huge-it.com

Dear @lcordelette if you can wait until we find out the problem and provide to you, then we will write back here, otherwise you can also send a message to us

    We apologies for the inconvinence

@support-huge-it I decided to give it another try before sending you an email, as you suggested. I updated to 2.2.3 as suggested in WordPress, enabled the plugin and it’s working fine again. You can see the result at http://www.seafrontmusic.net/producties/ Thanks for your efforts!

Dear @lcordelette @brandlh please tell me if your issue is fixed?
If yes, please @brandlh pin the forum as resolved, if no, then inform me

    Hi @support-huge-it,

I’m still getting the same error message when my build script tries to install the first plugin after installing portfolio-gallery using wp-cli.

Issue fixed for me. Thank you.

Ah, the problem returned! The site was down again! I left the link intact this time, you can find it at http://www.seafrontmusic.net/producties/. I renamed the folder to get the site back online. Hope you can fix this strange behaviour soon!

Hey all, I have the same problem on my site. Deactivating and reactivating the plugin only results in my home page being able to display properly. Hope this gets resolved soon

    Hi @support-huge-it,

I encountered the same error with 2.3.1 on 4.7.3. The site was running fine, but at some point started to return 500. Back then I didn’t have time to debug it and it got back normal. Today, a few weeks after the first incident, I figured out the Call to undefined function portfolio_gallery_isset_table_column() is the problem. The weird thing is that now and a few weeks ago, everything fixed itself, I didn’t change anything. It just doesn’t work every now and then with no apparent reason.

I’m happy to provide you with more info required to fix it.
