• Hi, here’s the question, I’m going to make a blog, a funny one, and I want to maximize my views, however I’m very reserved, I dislike twitter (because of the limitation of characters) and my number of facebook friends is also very reduced, now I’m not trying to make money out of my blog, that would be very different, I’m not even putting ads, the objective is doing it for fun, so it is not like I want to have millions of followers and post 3 times a day or something like that. Now what I want to ask is if there’s a tool, to help a guy like me, with limited number of contacts, to get a reasonable number of views, IF the content is interesting enough. Unfortunately, I don’t even have a clue where I should look first, because when I google the theme, all I got is like a million hints to be a professional blogger, to reach a certain number of circles and whatever.

Thank you so much your help!

  • Hi @silveringking,

In my opinion instead of trying to use a tool of this, in my opinion, you could increase traffic to your blog in a number of ways. I will outline it briefly below:

    1. In order to reach out to your audience, you will definitely need to market your blog on various social media platforms. I am sure you can find Facebook, Twitter and Instagram plugins that let you do so. About your twitter issue, you need not have the entire content of the blog in there but just a link to that blog.

    2. You could also install Jetpack plugin that shows you statistics about your posts which you could analyse to understand where your traffic comes from and what interests them.

    3. You could use plugins like Yoast to add SEO to your website.

    4. Do note, that all of this may take a while to show results so I would at least give it a good 6 months before you make any decision.

If you really need to market it digitally and you are not the expert in that I would recommend getting a Digital Marketing consultant to help you grow your target audience.

    Wish you the best.

@tsure Thank you for you fast reply, I’m not willing to spend money on a Digital Marketing consultant, because the objective is to have fun while writing and not becoming really serious I am however set up a twitter account and see what happens, I’m not expecting going viral from one moment to the other or becoming viral at all. Thanks anyway for the other tips, I will be following them, even if I don’t even know really well what SEO is 🙂 .
