• Hi, I recently installed WPBroadbean plugin and currently working with Broadbean to set the connection between the website/plugin and their feed.

Using the expected XML data from your Wiki (with correct username and password I setup in the plugin) on Broadbeans Network Portal to set up a feed it keeps returning an error saying there is invalid or missing test data in the XML.

Can you offer any advice on what might be causing this?

    Thanks

What is the exact error being returned please?

    Hi Mark,

The portal is giving the following error:

‘Test response failed against regular expression ‘Success’

And when they test from their end they’re also getting an invalid username and password error.

The username and password being used are exactly as shown in the plugin settings within WordPress.

Some users have had issues where the password containing symbols causes issues. Try a password with just numbers and letters please.

    Hi Mark,

We had considered that so changed the password but still getting the same result.

This could be something server related then perhaps. Maybe something is blocking the connection?

Hi Mark, there isn’t anything I’m aware of that could be blocking it, what would you suggest could be doing this? I’ve previously messaged you directly and through your paid support contact form. We need this plugin integrated asap, can you please respond to one of my direct emails so we can get you involved.
