Problem with RSS feed

    hi! I had my podcast feed set up at domain.com/feed/podcast. For some unknown reason it’s now not working, but is instead at domain.com/podcast/feed/podcast and at domain.com/podcast/?feed=podcast.

    I’ve tried everything I can think of to get the original feed working but without success. So I’ve read up on how to change the feed URL in iTunes using a 301 redirect. I can’t see in the Powerpress settings though where to change it. In the Settings -> Feed tab it has the original URL at Special Podcast only Feed. Do I need to change that? What else should I do when changing the feed URL?

    If domain.com/feed/podcast used to work but now it does not and now your feed URL is domain.com/podcast/?feed=podcast, that is an indication that the WordPress feature called ‘Permalinks” has been disabled.

    Go to WordPress Settings > Permalinks and enable any of the options (other than the very first one). Then click save.

    Please ask your staff/administrator why this was changed as it may have been disabled for a specific reason. I strongly recommend enabling permalinks.

    The 301 redirect is useful if you are moving an existing feed to a new feed URL. In your case you need to restore the feed that is now missing before you can perform a 301 redirect. Once you restore it there will not be a need to redirect it somewhere else.
