If by “ghost” you mean spam you should properly setup your Google Analytics account, to prevent these, see: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/filtering-spam-links?replies=9#post-6842332

A timezone issue it’s the only thing, I can think of, that can lead to the behavior described above.
