It’s a really astonishingly well working image gallery plugin.

It is possibly to include Pixabay.com as another image source?

Thank you for your comments. I will consider Pixabay as a source (assuming they have an API). My near term focus is on providing more gallery layout options.

They do: http://pixabay.com/api/docs/

Not trying to hide this: I’m among the founders of Pixabay – and that’s the official Pixabay plugin that also makes use of the API:
