• even accepts the start / end parameters with the video ID for youtube, perfect, just what I was looking for.

usage example: in field video ID add ?start= and &end= after the video ID where the start and end parameters take seconds:

    0ryHXT3f5QM?start=127&end=279

so in the exmample 0ryHXT3f5QM is the video ID, 127 is the start second, i.e. 2 min 7 sec into the video, and 279 is the end second, i.e. 4 min 39 sec into the videol

Glad you like it but you are not supposed to do it this way. I never realized this this works but makes sense since this allows all ASCII characters as ID. This is only a lucky coincidence that this works and may not work for all providers.

But custom parameters are supported since the last version 3.5.0 in this way.

[provider id="123345" parameters="start=127 end=279" whateveryoulike=1] you can replace & with spaces to improve readability. I need to write this up inside the docs. Also you may set parameters on the Options page for all videos. Obviously start and end not make much sense there.
