Basic plugin provides very usable and configurable tweaks to wp

This is the second time that i have used the Shortcodes Ultimate Plugin and it seems to be a very usable and stable solution if you haven’t got access to some of the mew builder themes that are appearing. My only reservation is in how effectively it implements additional css clases when you apply a shortcode…. but that could be down to my lack of CSS knowledge in all honesty.

Well worth a try if you have alterations and enhancements you want to include in the workflow of your next prioject without having to hack the theme itself!
