    Hi

I was updating the Jetpack plugin last night to the newest version (was previously on Version 4.0.4) when it triggered a fatal error and locked me out of my Admin panel and blog. I had to contact my Web Host GoDaddy and they deactivated and reset all of the plugins.

I tried to activate Jetpack this morning but I am still get an error message as follows:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: require_once(/home/content/n3pnexwpnas01_data03/46/3178446/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in/home/content/n3pnexwpnas01_data03/46/3178446/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 47

I really do not want to remove this plugin because I find it very useful but I do not want it ‘breaking’ my blog for want of a better term.

I am not the most technical person but I have never had any problems with this plugin before now so any help as to what I can do to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Brin

Just checked back for previous issues re Jetpack and tried deleting plugin and reinstalling which seems to have worked. Should have tried this first before posting – silly me!
