Thank you for the response. But I think Akismet is for identifying the spam comments.
But in my case, comments are not going to “Spam” folder. They are going to “Trash” folder directly. That means the comments of a particular author are directly deleted without even going to “Pending” or “Spam” folders.
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
Got it. It was some issue with the comment blacklist settings.
Hi! I am currently experiencing this issue also and it happened for three users already. They have been sending me comments on my previous posts and it’s just weird now that their comments on a particular post all went to the Trash folder. I have not blacklisted any word or anyone in my blog. But I do moderate the comments before approving it. Do you have any idea on why could this be happening? I’ve disabled CommentLuv plugin as I’ve read that it can have problems with the Jetpack plugin.

Comments from one registered user on my WordPress website are going to trash. I have set the settings to auto-approve comments. Then why it is acting like this? Any way to fix this?
Comments from all other users are being auto-approved as per the setting. The issue is with only this one user.
Note- Role of this user is same as other users.
