I am currently using your plugin for page visits. But when I was asked by my boss on how does the website statistics works, I don’t have a good answer.
So I am wondering: how do you count the page visits? Are bots and crawlers filtered out? Do you check for unique sessions?
    Thanks.

  • I also asked this similar but no response from the plugin developer.

    Does anybody know?

This plugin has most probably been abandoned by its developer. You may want to look at Slimstat as a reliable alternative:

wpbeginner1 and thefriedlancer: The plugin does the best job in determining a normal human visit. The bots and crawlers are filtered out.

Jason, it’s great that you do promote your plugin. But this is not the place for it.

    Artifex,

apologies for intruding, your plugin was off to a great start, and I was sorry to see that it hadn’t been updated in a few months, that’s all. Glad to see you’re back!
