Migrated Website Links Not Updated

    Hi,
    We recently migrated a website to a new hosting and found that some of the links refer to the old website so that some of the images are not appearing, some page links are not working correctly.

    The change of URL is from a subdirectory to the root e.g.
    http://example.com/directory to http://example.com

    I installed and ran Velvet Blue but this didn’t change any of the links.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
