Carousel Suddenly overriding my lightbox

    So, my lightbox suddenly just stopped working today. No site changes or anything. I’m using the Avada lightbox with the Metro White skin, but now it’s showing the generic Jetpack one instead (both Jetpack’s carousel and Photon have been disabled for ages and still are.) What’s weird is that sometimes I’ll exit out of the “new” gallery and see the Avada lightbox underneath but it’s frozen and the only thing you can click is exit.

    I’ve even uninstalled Jetpack completely (and have since reinstalled) and the carousel-type galleries were still there.

    Here’s one of my articles just for an example . Any help would be appreciated.

    both Jetpack’s carousel and Photon have been disabled for ages and still are.

    However, Tiled Galleries also relies on Photon. To avoid using Photon on your site, you would also need to disable that module.

    I’ve even uninstalled Jetpack completely (and have since reinstalled) and the carousel-type galleries were still there.

    If you’re still seeing the problem with Jetpack deleted, then the conflict isn’t happening with Jetpack, but another plugin. Try turning off other gallery related plugins you have installed and see if that has any impact. Also check to see if you have a caching plugin enabled and disable it before you start testing.

    Thanks so much, ma’am. I actually got it sorted within the day and it was exactly what you’d said. I had a plugin called tiled galleries without jetpack and somewhere down the line it added its own carousel option. Even turning that option off it didn’t stop the carousel. Deactivate delete for that one did the ticket.
