The plug-in is exceptional. I’ve been developing a statewide community for which we extensively use WP Google Maps. Now that we are implementing the second state site, it became evident that with 48 to go, we will end up with 50 different maps. Is there a limit on the number of markers that one can add to a map, and will a certain minimum number degrade the response of the map? It will be much easier to have only one map that is centered on each different state.

The plugin has no limit to the number of markers per map. We’ve seen users with 18 000+ markers on a single map without experiencing any issues.
You’ll probably find that the page load speed will start decreasing slightly after about 5 000+ markers though.
