Vendor dashboard page blank
-
Hello, My Vendor dashboard page is showing blank page, Please what can i do?
-
Is the user you are trying to view the vendor dashboard page a Vendor? (wp-admin > users > edit user > make sure thier role is “Vendor”)
Is the shortcode on the page correct? (Check your wp-admin > woo > wc vendors > pages)
Is there anything in your websites error_log? Sometimes blank pages are throwing PHP errors, and those would show up in your error_log. Your webhosting company would know where your error_log file is.
please check http://www.afiulo.com.ng and see what i am saying
That’s not the correct shortcode. You probably tried another plugin before ours, and they set a vendor dashboard page. Most likely WC Marketplace since all that plugin does is steal our code and break it. Since that plugin doesnt even uninstall itself correctly, or do anything correctly, we get a lot of support requests from their old users on how to fix their broken stuff. Funny, but sad, at the same time. 🙂

WC Vendors Free Dashboard page – [wcv_vendor_dashboard]
WC Vendors Free Shop Settings page, normally a child page of the Dashboard – [wcv_shop_settings]
WC Vendors Free Orders page, normally a child page of the dashboard – [wcv_orders]can you login to my account to handle the issue for me please?
Most certainly not. 😉 If you cant change a shortcode, it’s time you learned. 😉
If you check the link. You will see that I have edited it added 1 to it and that is the page with the right short code. But still not working
Can I delete all that is related to vendor and start all over?
The page loads blank for me. Are you running other multi vendor plugins still? Make sure only WooCommerce and WC Vendors are active plugins. Disable all the other stuff you’ve got when testing. I’m certain it’s WC Marketplace leftovers that are screwing up your site.
I have disabled all plugins and even had to reinstall WC Vendors, but after reinstalling, the didnt create the pages as they are supposed to. what can i do to handle that?
It won’t re-create the pages, since the pages already exist. You just have to edit the pages and use the correct shortcodes. This is basic WordPress 101 here. 🙂
Well i deleted all the pages in abit to start over, are you saying that if i install again, i will have to create the pages myself?
i started over by installing and creating the pages but its still showing blank. what could be wrong
Yup, create the pages, use the shortcode on that page, and then set the pages in wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > Pages. Voila! Done!

If the page is blank, check your webservers error_log file too, if you see an error, report back!
