    Hey Dario,

I see that the post in question is still relatively new (from march 21) and you’ve made numerous small changes over the days, which is great! If you continue to make daily changes over the course of a longer period of time (say, a few months or weeks), then the frequency will more than likely update.

However, in the grand scheme of things, I wouldn’t worry too much about absolute accuracy with site map change frequency. Google (and other search engines) utilize sitemaps as more of a guideline to map out all of your content.

In 2015, there was an important webcast with John Mueller of Google, where he said that sitemap timestamps don’t matter all that much anymore.

Priority and change frequency doesn’t really play that much of a role with Sitemaps anymore.
This is something where we’ve tried various things but essentially, if you have a sitemap file and you are using it to tell us about the pages that were changed or updated, it is much better to just specify the time stamp directly so that we can look into our internal systems and say we haven’t crawled since this date therefore we should crawl again.
And just crawling daily doesn’t make much sense if your content doesn’t change. So that is something where we see a lot of sites they give us this information in the sitemap, they said it changes daily or weekly, and we look in our database and it hasn’t changed in a month or years…

    (check out the video here)

    As Google states:

Using a sitemap doesn’t guarantee that all the items in your sitemap will be crawled and indexed, as Google processes rely on complex algorithms to schedule crawling. However, in most cases, your site will benefit from having a sitemap, and you’ll never be penalized for having one.

    – Google

So overall, just keep doing your thing and adding content to your sit. Google and other search engines are smart enough to see when there’s been changes made to posts and will rank them accordingly.

    I hope that helps!

ps. Awesome work on the workout plan! On that note, I’m off to the gym as well!!

    Absolutely! Glad I could help!

But what if you do have content that does change hourly or daily?
