Login Page Support URLs Incorrect

    I recently moved by wordpress blog installation out of a folder named “1” and into the root directory. The blog is working fine, and the login also works correctly.

    However, I have a problem with two of the three links below the login box.

    Register – this shows the correct URL
    Lost you password? And ‘Back to [domain], display an incorrect URL http://www.domain.com/1/http://domain.com

    I have checked the siteurl table in the database has the correct domain address.

    I cannot find anything amiss with the ‘functions.php’ or wp-config.php files.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Hi,

    You might want to consider doing a full database search and replace with a plugin that handles it properly. First, make a backup. BackWPup is a good, free plugin for this. Second, use Better Search & Replace to search for the full URL that includes the /1, and replace it with the one without it. https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
