Unable to save new settings
-
I originally called this post “Unable to turn on Caching” but I have realised I can’t save any changes in this plugin. However I can in others, Yoast SEO for example.
I tried to save extra usernames in “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames”. Saved the changes but after I refreshed the page the additional usernames had gone leaving only the originals.
I have had WordFence installed previously with Falcon caching. I recently did a major upgrade to my sites theme and have re-installed WordFence.
Now when I try and apply basic or Falcon caching, when the page refreshes the option have returned to “Disable all performance enhancements”. The same happens if I select “Disable config caching”, which I read in a previous post may help, when the page refreshes the setting is unselected.
I believe this is the relevant part of my htaccess file:
#WFIPBLOCKS – Do not remove this line. Disable Web Caching in Wordfence to remove this data.
Order Deny,Allow
#Do not remove this line. Disable Web Caching in WordFence to remove this data – WFIPBLOCKSI have also tried deactivating all plugins, enabling this one and it still will not start. I have also tried using a default 2015 Theme, no luck!
