Upgrade has disabled columns, viewing functions

I’ve updated the portfolio gallery plugin to the latest version, and now my 2 columns of items have been reduced to one, and I am unable to click and view portfolio items in the Gallery/Content Popup portfolio:

In addition, whereas when I widened the theme page width, I could have 3 columns, no CSS styling I do now affects the portfolio – it stays in one column mode.
