PowerPress won’t import your podPress stats. If you want to have a record of those, you’ll need to find a way to export and/or save them.
Thanks. As a follow-up, here is what I currently see for each podcast episode using PodPress stats:
Feed (raw numbers, % of total), Download (raw numbers, % of total), Play (raw numbers, % of total), and Total.
How does this compare with the PowerPress basic stats services?

PowerPress stats are actually generated and tracked thru the Blubrry website. You can sign up for a free stats account and try them out:
http://create.blubrry.com/resources/podcast-media-download-statistics/basic-statistics/
There’s also a premium version of stats if you find yourself wanting more insight into your audience.
I’ve seen that link, but there is no way to see what stats you get until you sign up for a free account. I’d rather know ahead of time.

Shawn is mistaken, in PowerPress we add a sub-menu where you can view your PodPress Statistics as an archive.
The accuracy of the podPress statistics data is questionable, not to burst your bubble but it is more than likely inflated. PodPress statsitics was for the most part a simple hit counter. There used to be an option called Full+, hopefully that was removed years ago as it not only caused issues with tracking downloads but it also used excessive amounts of PHP CPU time causing websites to come to a crawl at times.
Thanks for that, Angelo! I understand the drawbacks of the podPress stats, I just wouldn’t want them to go away during an upgrade.
The demo video Shawn linked to shows the functionality of the PowerPress professional stats, but I have yet to find a quick run-down of what the basic stats include.
We just updated our site, this page has a pricing table which explains the features under each type: http://create.blubrry.com/resources/podcast-media-download-statistics/
You can always sign up for free stats and upgrade to the pro at any time.
Awesome!
