Could you try deactivating all other plugins, starting with gallery and image plugins, and let me know if you find a conflict with another plugin?

If that doesn’t help, could you try switching to one of the default themes, like Twenty Fifteen, for a few minutes, and let me know if it helps?

If none of this helps, could you post a link to one of your galleries so I can take a closer look?

That’s indeed the default WordPress gallery markup. It’s to be expected.

However, Jetpack doesn’t seem to be active on your site at the moment, so you won’t be able to use Tiled Galleries. I’d suggest making sure that Jetpack is active and connected to your WordPress.com account first, and then editing the post, and the gallery, to make sure it uses one of the Tiled gallery types.

That markup isn’t added by Jetpack or by WordPress Core. It’s most likely added by your theme or one of the plugins installed on your local installation.

Yes, that’s to be expected, as Jetpack Tiled Galleries can be used locally, thanks to Jetpack’s Development mode. That mode was automatically enabled on your site in your local environment.
