Have access to more than one blog.
Edit a post.
In the Broadcast meta box, choose one or more child blogs.
Publish.
You should now have a parent post that is linked to one or more child posts.
Whenever you update the parent, the children will automatically be updated.
I followed your instructions, I edited a post and the broadcast meta box appears on the right but I don’t have the option to choose one or more child blogs.
Does your user have access to more than one blog?
Assuming I’m on the right path here; I’m using multisite and do have 3+ sites that I can see. The plugin is Network Activated as well, each site I can see has blogs and I can edit, delete etc. I’m the super-admin.
Your user must be added as a user to each blog in order for the blog to appear in the list.
Thank you for your help, that has solved my problem 🙂
While I’m here, is there any way of making the content automatically appear without selecting it each time I post something?
Sadly the link isn’t working for me
Visit plainviewplugins.com
> broadcast plugin packs
> user & blog settings plugin
I’m getting the following when going to the site
This webpage is not available
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
That’s an awful weird error to receive.
Some browser and firewall info would be necessary to diagnose any further, but I suggest we do that via e-mail: edward@plainviewplugins.com
