It appears that we successfully sent a confirmation email to your email address on December 16, at 14:34:12 UTC. It could be that the email got caught in your spam folder.
The admin email address, on the other hand, appears to be properly subscribed. I tried to subscribe to your site, and could subscribe without seeing that “expired” message. Could you tell me more about the steps you followed to get to that message?
Chris tried to subscribe to your site last month. We sent them a confirmation email on December 02 at 16:47:42 UTC.If they can’t find that confirmation email in their inbox or spam folder, could you ask them to go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ and confirm their subscription manually there?
I hope this helps.
Thanks for the response.
I was able to properly subscribe with the admin address by manually going to the subscriptions page and requesting an email; I then followed that link, went to Pending, and confirmed. I was unable to get the subscription widget to send me a second email that did not have an expired link.
Chris’s email account does not have any confirmation emails received from wordpress.com. I checked his inbox, trash, junk, and my global spam catch-all. When he tried to have another email sent to him, it never arrived. I think he should be able to use the subscriptions page like I did to get a link to his subscriptions page and, hopefully, there will be a valid confirmation link on his Pending page.

That’s indeed the expected behaviour right now. Confirmation emails are only sent once, so you can’t request a second one. We’re considering changing that in a future Jetpack update.

That should indeed be possible. If that doesn’t work, do not hesitate to let him know he can contact us through this contact form and we’ll get him sorted out.
Hi there,
I have got same problem, I am in trouble with receiving confirmation request e-mail by subscribers.
Test e-mail is all right, static e-mail letters are all right, they delivered.
There is only one problem: confirmation request e-mails can be received by any@gmail.com account holders, but this mail is not received by any@ntlworld.com email account. Same e-mail addresses receive all other letters from my page, just this one not.
I am using Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin with a WP-Mail-SMTP plugin installed with this settings
No encrypt
auth SMTP
Settings seem to be all right, test mail is received by any other e-mail users, just the confirmation request e-mail can not. Err: server can not found.
Any help, please?!
Many thanks
Tibor
