Try disabling stats in tge shortcode or on the settings page.
Statistics appear to already be disabled on the settings page, though I didn’t set it that way on purpose.
I can’t see the shortcode itself, the FileAway button is included as a part of the WOffice “Projects” template.
Have a link to the page so I can see it?
Are the downloads encrypted?
They do appear to be encrypted, at least there is an encryption key on the setup page. Again that was by default, not intent.
You can see a project with files at http://maltedmeeple.com/team/project/general-marketing/
You’ll need a log in, you can use “staff test” as user and “stest” as password.
Hi, Jim. Thanks for the access. I went to the Files tab on the General Marketing page, and found one file, “The Maze & Cherub” jpg. It is not encrypted (the encryption key in the settings is used only if you enable encryption on a per shortcode basis). It opens up in the FlightBox and downloads with no issue for me in Chrome, Firefox, and IE.
Maybe I’m on the wrong page?
Well heck, that’s odd. When I try to download it I see a small spinning progress circle under the download button for a second or two, then at the bottom of the browser I see a “Waiting for maltedmeeple.com…” that stays there for about five to ten seconds, then nothing.
Nope, you’re definitely on the right page.
Can you show me a screenshot? By the download button I assume you’re talking about the Down Arrow on the FlightBox?
Ah hah! I never tried the down arrow on the FlightBox. That works. What I was using was the “Download” button under the file listing itself, right next to the Select All button. I have a screenshot, but not sure how to attach it here.
Oh, so that’s the bulk download feature. My username and password don’t work anymore so I can’t check it.
Sorry about that, the user id should work again now. Changed it when I thought you were done in there 😉
Yeah, something is preventing the generated zip file from being accessed by the browser. I wouldn’t be able to troubleshoot this without server and administrative access, which I’m not asking for.
Ok, I’ll check with the host admin then and see if he’s got any ideas. Thanks for the assist.
