So I created a match and decide to test how to insert player statistics.

I play against a foregin team with no players (but that doesn’t matter, right).

I selected 14 players from my team and hit update. I wrote in some statistics like goals and assists, and who was sub and who came on for whom. I set result of the game.

    Update.

Now, nothing is correct in regard to who played and so on. Just a few were registered from those I selected and one had even moved over to the other team.

What am I possibly doing wrong???

  • Hi Gabriel!

By your description the match data seems to be added correctly, but what about the other things, the competition, the teams. How are you adding them?

    Kind Regards,

Hi Roch, thank you for answering me.

I made a mockup league to test, and made five-six fixtures, all with Brønnøysund as one of the teams. Only tested it on one game.

Took a couple of screenshots, you can chech them and see if you get any wiser by it.

As you can see from 333333.png, only a few of the thirteen-fourteen players I selected was left after I pushed update.

(none of the players I gave assist, goals or cards too… hmm)

    Tried again, still no luck.

@aediasse Thanks for the follow up. Do the players disappear from the Teams section in the sidebar too, or just from the main Performance section?

    I don’t think they do.

I created another match now, with my team away. I selected fourteen players (no coaches, havent done that yet) and clicked puplish.

Then the players showed up at the main screen. I set three as subtitutes and set result to 0-0 draw.

When I hit publish all players were in the starting line up, but for the WRONG team???

    Thread Starter Gabriel

    (@aediasse)

Ok, so I played along and again set the three subtitutes as subtitutes, even If they were on the wrong team. I also changed result to 1-1 and draw, and entered a goalscorer and someone who made an assist.

    Hit update.

Players were now on the right team, but goalscorer and assistmaker was not registered, and the players back at their original team, but with everyone in starting 11.

This is starting to get silly now.

I produced a short video for you to look at Brian (or anyone else who think they can help) where I create a match and try to do things right.

    Check it out 🙂

    It’s me again 🙂

I tried something. I updated my WordPress to the latest version (I had a very old version).

It seems to be working now!

Hope it stays that way 😀

    I’m glad it’s resolved!

Please, let us know if you need anything else.
