• Hi,

I’m trying to fix something in WordPress on the Burns Bog Conservation Society’s website, but I’ve hit a dead end. Let me break the situation down:

    1) The “Submit and Check Out” button on our Membership Checkout page isn’t leading where it’s supposed to, so my superiors asked me to see if I can figure out the problem.

    2) I want to check the button to see what it links to, but WordPress’s version of the Membership Checkout page just shows the following shortcode: [pmpro_checkout] instead of anything I can edit directly.

    3) I noticed some stray coding hovering around the actual page, so I assume that it can be edited directly (if only so I can get rid of the tiny “div>” hovering near the start of the paragraph on the page).

    4) I posted this question on the main WordPress forum, and they directed me to this sub-forum.

Do you know how I can actually edit the content of the page? I’m using the “hover-number-two” theme, by the way.

Any suggestions you can provide will be helpful. Thanks!

  • Hi thanks for writting in
Generally we recommend Theme My Login plugin for redirection of logins etc
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/

Go to Theme My Login –> Redirection, and under subscriber enter the URL that you want members to go to when logging in.

Go to Theme My Login –> Themed Profiles, and check the “Subscriber” role under themed profiles and restrict admin access. (NOTE if you check Administrator here you can lock yourself out of the dashboard.)

Do you have this installed. if not try this and see if it helps..
If it doesnt it wont change the original and it can be uninstalled without problems

    Hi Pete,

Well…that’s interesting, and I’ll give it a shot, but is there a phone number I can call just in case this doesn’t work? I think I’m not wording the problem correctly.

    No phone number really..
