Problem with changing the color

Hi,

Everything works fine, but I want to do one adjustment.
The default color of the product-menu and the color they get when I hover over the products is brown (#724e3f) and I want to change it.
Now I went to the settings and changed it there, but nothing happend.
Then I did some googling and the given solution was:

#wpc-col-1 ul li a:hover, #wpc-col-1 ul li.active-wpc-cat a {
	background: #0a0d6b !important;
}

at the bottom of the style CSS.

So I did that, and that didn’t work either.

So what do I need to do in order to change the color of the hover and the menu color?

I also want to change that if I am on the product page that the product menu isn’t always ‘highlighted’ like if you hover over it when I’m on that page.
