More book store links needed

    I need to show buy links for stores that are not listed: Indigo (ie. chapters.indigo.ca) and Book Depository (they do free worldwide shipping, so it’s important). I also sell my books on my website via the WooCommerce plugin to people in South Africa (so much cheaper for them) and also do bulk orders of all books directly through my website. What I’m asking is, is there a way to create “custom” store links?

    It would be absolutely awesome if that could be a feature – have a custom text field for name, an img field to upload a logo, and a URL field, to create one’s own store(s). No other (NONE!) books plugin does that, and it’s really frustrating that plugins only allow me to use the handful of stores they think are important. I can’t believe that no one else is complaining about that, because it’s driving me nuts.

    If you go to Settings -> Book Manager and click on the Retailers tab, you’ll find the exact feature you are looking for. 🙂

    THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It figures, the one time I take my head out of the sand to complain about missing functionality, and it already exists, LOL.

    In my defense, I didn’t know there was a completely separate Settings area outside of the Books menu item. Maybe put some visual cue *somewhere*, like at the top of the plugins page or the Dashboard or something?

    And just so you know, I never ask for features or complain about plugins (or anything else) UNLESS I really like it and hope to use it. I’ve looked at, used, and ultimately discarded all the other plugins that does what Mooberry Book Manager does (all whopping 2 of them… sad) and this was the make-or-break feature that would have determined if I use Mooberry, or simply create normal pages without any plugin, because Mooberry was the only one that impressed me.

    So, thank you for a great plugin, and thank you for replying and being so nice about my ignorance 🙂

    Thanks for the feedback! For the next update I have put in a notice on the Retailers and Formats that more can be added on the settings screen. I will also look into putting a link to the settings page in the Books menu.

    I am very receptive to feature suggestions so please don’t hesitate to leave a message. 🙂

    Just wanted to ask if you could put Book Depository into the book stores section but I see I can do it myself.
    I think Book Depository is the best bookstore too!
