We love that you love this plugin 🙂 Thanks for using it.
My first thought is to make sure you have “Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page” on the page you want reviews to show up, and fill out the business info as well. If it’s not checked, check it then submit a review and see what happens. You may need to manually assign the reviews to a post in the database using a tool like phpMyAdmin. WARNING: Back up your database first before editing it.

Thanks for this
OK so I realised that I have made a simple error, however that there was a good reason for this.
If I enable reviews for the page then by default I have all of the reviews both on the side (where I want them) but also at the bottom of the page (where I dont) I suspect that this will happen on other pages displaying reviews ie I need to enable these pages with reviews and will have them come up twice
Therefore the simple question is can I enable reviews on a page without having the list of reviews coming up at the bottom.
Please have a look at the website to see what I am talking about
Thanks a ton

Ok so i have realised my error using the following code as shown below “Enable reviews” as follows [WPCR_INSERT] in the text object on the page then displays the reviews ONLY in that area and not at the bottom of the page.
HOWEVER my shortcode settings are now lost, attempting to copy them into the above command does not work and I still have the default settings. This is the code I attempted to use
[WPCR_INSERT POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”8″ SNIPPET=”60″ MORE=”view more” HIDECUSTOM=”1″ HIDERESPONSE=”1″]
I know I am close to the answer here and think it may be simple syntax, please can you help !!!
Thanks a ton

Ok I have generally figured this out. If you want the user to be able to post a review then this has to be enabled on the page !
If you enable this then generally (not always) the reviews are posted at the bottom of the page unless you use the prefix WPCR_INSERT (instead of WPCR_SHOW) in your shortcodes
This has not allowed me to use the other shortcode settings so I did a workaround.
I created a button below all of the places where reviews were shown (seeing as they are so important in marketing) which links back to a reviews page. In this reviews page I allow people ONLY to post new reviews here and have a full display of these reviews
Perhaps this will help someone, have a look at http://www.smartfurn.co.za if you are interested
