Email admin when post awaiting moderation

Can SKS tell me how to arrange for admin to receive an email notification when a new post is held for moderation? Notifying admin when a new comment is held for moderation is well covered, but I am talking about a new post.

There was some discussion about this six years ago, but no satisfactory outcome and things have moved on in six years.

I expected this to be obvious and built-in but cannot find it. Am I missing something?
