Good links get marked as broken

    Broken Link Checker is marking dozens of links as broken which are not. If I copy the URL from the “edit URL” box and test it directly, it is good; if I then click “retest”, I again get 404 not found. All pages are served quickly, the problem is not delay. (Some of the post are private, does that make a difference?)

    So the question is, in general, what might cause false positives?
