Unable to activate plugin

When I try to activate the plugin the following error appears.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/macatoz/www/www/wp-content/plugins/pay-to-post/functions/ptp-database.php on line 95
I’m guessing there is a typo. Please point me in the right direction. I would love to use your plugin. Thank you in advance for your help.
