Triple Confirmation/Payment Emails

    I see this problem has come up before…

    After completing registration and paying for an event via PayPal, users are sent three registration confirmation emails and three payment confirmation emails (a total of six).

    I’ve deleted plugins and changed themes and determined the conflict resides with my theme. I am using the theme “Finex” but when I switch to 2015, the user is only sent one registration confirmation and one payment confirmation email.

    Any idea about what to adjust in the theme to stop these duplicate emails?
