Abrir popup al hacer clic en imagen

    Hola amigos espero alguien me pueda ayudar; quisiera que al hacer clic en una imagen me abra un popup con información sin cargar una pagina nueva(que sea un elemento flotante), tengo instalado el “wordpress popup” que tiene todas las opciones que necesito pero nose que url darle a la imagen para que al hacer clic me salga el popup y la otra pregunta es que url darle al popup ya que no deseo que se abra en ninguna pagina especifica; sino que el popup se abra al hacer clic en la imagen dentro de la pagina.
    por ejemplo si yo le doy la direccion “www.mipaginaweb.com/subpagina” si me aparece el popup pero eso no deseo.
    Espero alguien me pueda ayudar. Muchas gracias de antemano por su tiempo.

    Hey there SimplementeJorge,

    Hope you’re well today 🙂

    I’ve tried using Google translate but the translation is not really good so I’m not sure I understand the issue you’re dealing with.

    The part I understood is that you want to trigger popup on a click. This is not possible in the free version of the plugin as it requires JavaScript Events add on which allows you insert class or ID which when clicked on will trigger popup. The add on is available only in the premium version of the plugin.

    Gracias por tu ayuda Bojan Radonic WPMU DEV Support, hay otra forma de hacer lo que deseo? que al hacer clic en una imagen(por ejemplo 01 monitor de pc) me aparezca las características de este monitor en una ventana flotante, y que no muestre en otra pestaña.
    Ojala me entienda, gracias

    Hey again SimplementeJorge,

    As I mentioned above this would be possible with the premium version of Popup plugin as it has on click trigger as I explained above.

    If you’re looking for a free alternative, I couldn’t really find this specifically but there should be some sort of lightbox plugins that could with few modifications allow you to display another image in a lightbox when you open the default one.
