Are you sure that it doesn’t show up on product pages? They should show up after the description.
Nope not there. What else is kind or weird if I include the catalog link in a post which get shared to Face book I get this text in the Facebook post.

It is not there because you have nothing in product description. Try to add something to the description and it should appear.
You should ask the jetpack developers about the output of the buttons.
Yup that fixed it. I have used the short description for all my products.
