Installing Jetpack breaks dashboard

After activating jetpack I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 113 bytes) in /raid/vhost/reine.com.tw/www/wordpress/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 108

I have reinstalled wordpress & jetpack but I keep getting the same error.

It may have something to do with me clicking “back” when my website was linking itself to the jetpack/wordpress system, disturbing the linking .

Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this?
