UPDATE:
Played around a little. Frontend seems to work, so the error arises only in the admin backend.
Hey there rb1958,
Hope you’re well today!
I’ve tested this on my sandbox site that has SSL with debug active and I couldn’t recreate the issue.
I was able to create/edit Popups without any issues so I am assuming this might be related to the specific ssl certificate you’re using.
Would you mind contacting Cloudflare support to see if they can help with this issue?
Also please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help 🙂
Best regards,
Bojan

Hello Bojan,
thanks for the info. I will talk with Cloudflare but i’m pretty sure that they will tell me to ask you.
But for me this is not really a problem, it’s more “cosmetical”, cause the message arises only in the admin backend when i edit a popup.
In the frontend all works normally. i agree with you that this deals in the way cloudflare handles ssl.
Ok, for me we can close this ticket. i will try to follow up this issue with cloudflare and if there are any news i’ll let you know.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Many greetings,
Bodo
PS: When you want to recreate the problem, you will need to connect a test site with cloudflare flexible ssl. In addition the plugins Cloudflare, CloudFlare Flexible SSL and SSL Insecure Content Fixer are needed/recommended.
Hey again Bodo,
I didn’t use CloudFlare Flexible SSL, this was tested on WP Engine with an official SSL cert that they setup which is why I’ve mentioned that it is most likely related to that specific setup.
Ok, for me we can close this ticket. i will try to follow up this issue with cloudflare and if there are any news i’ll let you know.
Please do 🙂
Have a nice day!
Cheers,
Bojan
