I don’t know why, but its up again πŸ˜›
But is it a known problem that the “Launch event HTML”-field under “When Countdown Reaches Zero” craches the coundown if it has a

Please be more specific regarding the ‘Launch event HTML’

    if it has a
    ??

What exactly are you entering in this field?

    Thread Starter Hkroed

    (@sprithansi)

    This text works OK
    <center><H4>My text pΓ₯ <a href="webadress" target="_blank">Link </a> </H4></center>

But I wanted a new line, and entered a
after the , the counter was destoyed. It startet counting up instead.
    Is a
    -code allowed in this html-section??

Still unclear. Please wrap your html in a code tag:

    …and entered a ???
    after the , the

what did you enter, after what?

    Is a ???
    -code a

    what -code?

Regardless, we’ll get you straightened out, you just have to be a bit more clear. Paste the exact text that does NOT work and wrap it in code backticks here so we can see what you are referring to.

Hehe. I cant write HTML-codes in this box without wrapping them inside the code-tag πŸ˜€
    Here we go again

    This text works OK
    <center><H4>My text pΓ₯ <a href="webadress" target="_blank">Link </a> </H4></center>

But I wanted a new line, and entered a <br>
after the `</a> the counter was destoyed. It startet counting up instead.
    Is a <br /> -code allowed in this html-section??

it sure should be! we’ll do some testing and see if there is an issue that we were unaware of before your helpful feedback. please stand by.

Are you using the widget or the shortcode?

something else is amuck. can you share a link to your site?

    Plugin Author Baden

    (@baden03)

sorry, we see you included a link in your first post.
Can you set up an example page that has the br tag that breaks the countdown?
We are unable to recreate the issue.

Any html and even line breaks (made in the text part of the editor) seem to break the plugin (stops the seconds from counting down).
The countdown will be correct again if you refresh the page.

    works:
    [tminus t="06-11-2015 11:00:00" omitweeks="true" style="cloud-city" before="Only ..." after="... to go."]Heading. here we say something[/tminus]

    doesn’t work:
    [tminus t="06-11-2015 11:00:00" omitweeks="true" style="cloud-city" before="Only ..." after="... to go."]<h2>Heading.</h2> here we say something[/tminus]

    doesn’t work either:

    [tminus t="06-11-2015 11:00:00" omitweeks="true" style="cloud-city" before="Only ..." after="... to go."]Heading.
    here
    we
    say
    something[/tminus]

*The countdown will be correct again if you refresh the page (yet it will still NOT be counting down)

@sopi: sounds like you have a js error on your page, or multiple versions of jQuery being loaded… or maybe some other issue. Would be able to provide you a better idea had you included a link to your page.

    I’m experiencing the same problem.

I’ve created a page with the sample code from sopi:
    [tminus t="06-11-2015 11:00:00" omitweeks="true" style="cloud-city" before="Only ..." after="... to go."]<h2>Heading.</h2> here we say something[/tminus]

You can find the (not working) countdown here:

Yup, there is an issue with html in the launch text. We’ll look into this and push out an update in the next days. Thanks for the feedback!
