It shows up in “category” but it des not show up in “single”
Hi bydlo. If the post type is set to Standard the featured image won’t be displayed in the single post. Try setting the post type to Image.

Thanks, but…why?
I have more than 800 posts right now and if i want to switch to “Hueman” i have to manually edit all these 800 posts?

can you show me a way (childtheme / functions.php etc) to modify in a way that featured images are also shown in post-type “standard” ?

These are no solutions at all.
we already HAVE more than 800 posts WITH featured images and the post type is “standard”
Your recommended plugins are for completely different problems.
