I installed this plugin today. I’ve been trying to look at the analytics dashboard in WordPress, but the heat map is all blue and the other tabs just say “No data for the criteria given”. I’ve looked up my website from my computer, phone, and friend’s computer, but it still claims there is no data. I looked in my Google Analytics account under “Real-Time” and found that it registers when a user is on the page. Still, I get “no data for the criteria given”. What’s going on?

A couple things for you to check:

Under Settings -> Better Analytics -> API, make sure the correct Profile Used For Reporting is selected.

If that’s correct, make sure you are accessing the Heat Maps from the admin navigation on the left (under Analytics), if you access it from the top Page Analytics option, it’s just showing you the data for the page you were on (it will also show a Page Path parameter at the bottom of the Heat Map if that’s the case).

Thank you. That fixed the problem. I didn’t understand that there was a difference between the nav on the left and on the top.
